If I have to name one actress who I’ve been following since I was a kid, it will be Kareena Kapoor Khan.
From slaying the fashion mishaps to trying to be my own favorite, she has taught me some lessons with her extraordinary characters. And there’s no doubt that she’s an amazing actress. Her work says it all. But today, let’s reminisce about her unforgettable looks.
1. Dolly – Omkara
Adapted from Shakespeare’s Othello, this film marks one of her best performances. With such an ensemble cast, she did justice to her role. But ek baat batao, bina makeup ke, sirf kajal laga ke, itna sundar koi kaise dikh sakta hai. Kareena made those white salwar kameez look so beautiful.
2. Pia – 3 Idiots
Saying this with my experience, wearing spectacles is one of the most annoying things in life. But her character in 3 idiots, made those glasses look so chic. Also, she made the combination of lehenga and specs look so great.
3. Poo – Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham
Well, well, well! Bhagwan Poo jitna confidence dede na life mein to duniya hi jeet lu by god! Only Poo can go to a party, wearing two different sandals and then dance on “You are my soniya“. Do you remember those days when all you wanted was ‘Kareena ne jo bole chudiyan me pehna tha na, vaisa lehenga chahiye’.
Poo: OG Fashion Blogger!!!
4. Kalindi – Veere Di Wedding
This movie may not be that good, but you cannot deny that the clothes worn by the veereys were breathtaking. And one of the outfits was Kareena’s yellow lehenga. She inspired a lot of people to wear a breezy color like yellow on their wedding day.
5. Geet – Jab We Met
From where should I start about Geet! If self-love had a role model, it has to be Geet. She made mistakes in her life, but more than that she owned them like a pro. But can you forget her extra cool fashion sense?
Only she could make the loose T-shirt and salwar look so cool. Isse zyaada comfortable kya ho sakta hai ab.
So, that was all. But hey, if you think that I’ve missed some major trendsetting Kareena Kapoor’s role, then do let me know in the comments below.
